Turn Investments Into Meaningful Impact

Stock, Securities & Financial Assets

Giving stocks, securities or other financial assets is a powerful way to support Saddleback Medical Center while making the most of what you’ve built. Donating appreciated assets may also offer potential tax benefits — helping your generosity go further.

Marketable Securities

Giving appreciated securities is a simple, tax-smart way to support Saddleback Medical Center and make a meaningful difference for our patients and families.

If you’ve held stocks or securities for more than a year, you may avoid capital gains tax while receiving a charitable deduction for the full market value of your gift — helping you maximize your impact.

To learn more, call (949) 452-3724 or view our easy step-by-step instructions.

IRA Rollover Gifts

An IRA rollover gift — also called a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) — is a simple, tax-efficient way to support Saddleback Medical Center.

If you’re age 70½ or older, you can give directly from your IRA. Your gift can count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) and won’t be subject to income tax (up to current limits).

It’s an easy way to make a meaningful impact while maximizing your giving. To learn how to make an IRA rollover gift, we invite you to connect with one of our Development Officers at (949) 452-3724 or by email at [email protected].

Donor Advised Funds

Donor-advised funds (DAFs) are an easy, flexible and tax-efficient way to support Saddleback Medical Center. You make a contribution to your fund, then recommend grants to the causes you care about — like ours.

If you’re considering a DAF gift, please let us know by calling (949) 452-3724 or emailing [email protected]. We’re happy to assist with transfer details and help you make the most of your giving.
