Guardian Angel
Grateful patients and their families who want to thank their nurse, physician or other caregiver who made a difference in the care they received at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center can make a tribute gift through the Guardian Angel program. Whether you want to give thanks to the doctor who saved your life or the nurse who took care of your newborn baby, a Guardian Angel gift is a thoughtful way to express your gratitude. In Memory Of
In Honor/Memory — Saddleback Medical Center Foundation offers several ways to celebrate or memorialize loved ones, friends and caregivers through tribute gifts.
Giving a gift in memory of a family member or friend is a meaningful way to pay tribute to that person's life. Donors often choose to designate gifts to specific service areas of Saddleback Medical Center or programs/services that made a difference in the care of their loved ones.
In Lieu of Flowers
To honor their loved one’s memory, families sometimes request that guests consider a gift to Saddleback Medical Center in lieu of flowers. Below is sample wording that can be used on a funeral announcement or program:
In lieu of flowers, the [NAME] family requests a gift to MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center, which can be made through Saddleback Medical Center Foundation.
If possible, please notify the Foundation that gifts in honor of your loved one may be on the way by calling (949) 452‑3724 or emailing [email protected].
Tree of Light
The holidays are a perfect time to make your tax-deductible charitable gifts to causes close to your heart. Consider a Tree of Light gift to honor a loved one or thank someone who cared for you at MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center. Your gift can benefit any area of the hospital that is meaningful to you and help save lives. Without including the amount, your honoree can be informed of your tribute gift. Your honoree's name will be listed in our digital Book of Remembrance.
